Our vodka celebrates our northern home, a land of abundance that enables us to craft the finest spirit from ingredients grown in our own backyard, sourced from local Canadian farms and crafted by artisans of Alberta Distillers, an award-winning distillery recently named Distillery of the Decade at the Canadian Whisky Awards 2020.
Each year, we gather the best Canadian grains our prairie lands have to offer. It's this bounty that shapes the great spirits we're known for. We use a mix of 70% rye and 30% winter wheat, resulting in a distinctly Canadian taste.
Northern Keep is well-rounded with hints of citrus and light spiciness from the finest rye, a subtle sweetness from winter wheat and distilled five times for an exceptional smoothness and clean finish.
Because we love this land that has given us so much we've partnered with the Nature Conservancy of Canada, Canada's leading national conservation organization focused on preserving our natural spaces in order to help protect, preserve and reclaim our land.
Since 1962, NCC and its partners have helped to protect 14 million hectares (35 million acres), coast to coast to coast.
We’re thrilled to announce that Northern Keep is among the first products in Canada to be accredited as a Certified Habitat-Friendly Winter Wheat Product. This is a new Habitat-Friendly Winter Wheat Ecolabel Program that helps consumers identify environmentally friendly products which provide critical habitat for ducks, birds and other wildlife in Canada.
Why is Winter Wheat important? Because Winter Wheat is planted in the autumn months, it provides ground cover in the spring to help reduce soil erosion and offers nesting habitat for wildlife, especially waterfowl and songbirds in Canada.
"An innovative spirit to up your mixology game."
